Ride Right Now Operating New TRACER Buses
The City of Tracy has recently added five 2017 low-floor diesel Gillig buses to their fleet! Ride Right, under TRACER, is now operating the new buses, tailored for the needs of the Tracy community with easy ADA access, high visibility destination signs, and many more features. After training went extremely well in vehicle familiarization, wheelchair securement, and behind the wheel driving, the new fleet hit the streets in early April and greatly impressed local passengers. TRACER offered free rides from April 1st through the 30th, for individuals to celebrate the city’s investment in the community.
In the featured photo above are the following individuals who we’d like to thank for making room for the new buses in the existing TRACER program: Ed Lovell, City of Tracy; Commissioner Ameni; Commissioner Vaughn; Lakisha Scott, Ride Right; George Riddle, Tracy Airport Association; Commissioner Silva; Richard Ottenheimer, SkyView Aviation; and Lisa Donahue, Dibs (Public & Government Services).
Ride Right staff are excited to make Tracy more accessible operating Tracy’s new buses! More information on the Rixed Route service can be found at www.ridetracer.com.
